K-12 Tutoring Programs

All our students can take a free initial test (assessment) to determine which level of help they need. Based on the results, we offer individual lessons in the following areas:

• Math: We offer personalized math tutoring sessions to help students grasp complex concepts and improve their problem-solving skills.

• Reading: Our reading programs are designed to enhance comprehension, vocabulary, and fluency for readers of all levels.

• Writing: We provide writing support to help students express their ideas clearly and confidently in essays, reports, and creative writing.

• Online Tutoring: Our online tutoring platform provides flexible, interactive learning opportunities for students in various subjects.

• Homeschool Support: We provide comprehensive support for homeschooling families, including curriculum planning and instructional guidance.

• Advanced Placement (AP) Support: Our AP support programs help students excel in their AP courses and prepare for the AP exams.

• Report Card Help: We offer targeted assistance to help students improve their grades and achieve academic success.

• Homework Help: Our homework help services provide students with the support they need to complete assignments and reinforce learning on a case-by-case.

• Interpersonal Communication: This tutoring class is designed to help students enhance their communication skills in personal and professional settings. It focuses on the fundamental principles of effective communication, including verbal and nonverbal strategies, active listening, and conflict resolution. Students will learn how to navigate and improve interactions in various relational dynamics by participating in practical exercises and engaging in discussions.

Habib Kinkhabwala introduced the Cumulative Repetitive Learning Model, emphasizing learning as a sequential process where knowledge is gradually increased through repetitive practice and review. This model supports the idea that repeated accumulation of learning experiences and information significantly enhances knowledge acquisition and retention (Kinkhabwala, 2023).

This is why we created The Viking Tutoring Hub™, where students can tailor for our young learners, focusing on foundational reading, writing, math, and critical thinking skills. Engaging and interactive, these sessions use play-based learning and storytelling to make learning fun and effective.

We offer three different tutoring programs:

• Viking Homework Club™

• Viking Tutoring Hub™

Viking Homework Club™

For children who want to take a break or work on their homework during tutoring, we offer homework nooks and an opportunity to join our general childcare sessions in the same building.

Viking Tutoring Hub™

Our Viking Tutoring Hub™ programs are designed to give your child the option to finish every school day with a sense of accomplishment and achievement while not being overwhelmed at the same time. Our programs are available for three hours daily, and participation is optional, allowing families to choose a schedule that best fits their child's needs and energy levels.

Children participating in the Tutoring Hub can also join the preschool room anytime they feel they want to take a break from learning. So, the Tutoring Hub includes the fee for the preschool. The general goal of the Tutoring Hub is to ensure that students catch up with all the daily learning curriculum and finish all homework before they come home.

Middle School Tutoring Hub™

Middle schoolers face unique challenges as they juggle more complex subjects. Our tutoring program offers specialized algebra, science, and essay writing support. Tutors work closely with students to develop study skills crucial for high school success. The flexible 3.5-hour tutoring window allows students to balance academic support with much-needed downtime.

High School Tutoring Hub™

Our High School Tutoring Program is focused on academic excellence and college readiness. It covers various subjects, including advanced math, science, literature, and test preparation for college entrance exams. Students can utilize the 3.5-hour tutoring session each day to target specific areas of need or interest.
