Hello! I’m Jed Selter, and I’ve had the privilege of spending over 30 years in executive management, shaping and leading teams in a Fortune 50 company globally. My areas of expertise have ranged from intellectual property protection and computing security to security and fire protection services. Throughout my career, I've thrived in roles that required mentoring and fostering effective collaboration across diverse professional and unionized workgroups.

I’ve always been passionate about transformative projects that improve organizational culture. My leadership in these areas included spearheading an industry-wide initiative in collaboration with the White House. As a former officer in the U.S. Air Force, I learned the importance of discipline and structured growth—values I've carried over into my civilian career.

After my tenure in the corporate world, I founded two organizations with heartfelt missions to enhance the personal and professional lives of individuals across various sectors. Although presently inactive, these companies helped organizations boost their productivity and customer satisfaction through better collaboration and innovation.

My love for working with kids reflects my long-standing commitment to volunteering as a clown. For over 45 years, I have been bringing smiles and laughter to children and communities worldwide. As a co-founder, president, and executive director of Caring Clowns International, I've had the joy of impacting lives in over 35 countries. Our efforts have supported numerous nonprofits, helping bring resources and happiness to children and families in need.

Aside from my nonprofit work, my dedication extends to public service, where I spent ten years volunteering with the American Red Cross in disaster relief and executive management roles. I am also a prolific speaker and author, having published four books and frequently addressed audiences on leadership, communication, and self-management.

Currently, I am actively involved in education, working with elementary school and college graduate-level students on self-improvement and interpersonal relationships. It’s incredibly rewarding to interact with young minds, nurturing their development, and witnessing their transformation into confident, capable individuals.

I hold a BS in Sociology/Psychology from Iowa State University and have graduated from several executive management programs in the Air Force and industry. My ongoing mentorship continues to foster career opportunities and nurture exceptional relationships.
